Leveraging sensor data in the workforce

Sensor data can be critical in helping measure the effectiveness of the workforce but it requires a completely different paradigm of measurement than has been previously implemented with sensors. Typically, sensors have been used to measure a single unit, but the value of a company isn't measured by a single employee's output. People are the only assets that can truly deliver more as a group than the sum of it's parts could deliver individually. So when we measure the workforce, it's critical that we not measure people as individuals but rather as organizational groups. When we start to accept this new paradigm, the concern over privacy begins to diminish because the data has no value at the individual but rather at the organization.
